These Terms and Conditions define the extent and conditions of the SAVICKI Care+® Service for customers of the https://savicki.co.uk/ online store, hereby referred to as the Store.
SAVICKI Care+® is a set of services that are the subject of a purchase agreement and relate to goods covered by the purchase agreement.
The SAVICKI Care+® Terms and Conditions are consistent with the online store's Terms and Conditions. Savicki reserves the right to provide the SAVICKI Care+® service through third parties.
The buyer is obliged to use the SAVICKI Care+® service in accordance with its intended purpose and under the conditions specified in the terms and conditions of the online store.
The seller is Savicki 1976 sp. z o.o., a limited liability company registered in the National Court Register of Poland under KRS number 0000919419. Our registered office is at ul. Gorzowska 2A, 65-127 Zielona Góra, Poland. Our registered Polish VAT number is NIP 9731046027, and REGON 36853523300000.
In matters not covered by the regulations, in particular with regard to the rules of purchase in the e-Store and the definitions used in the regulations, the Regulations for Using the Savicki Online Store and the Privacy Policy available at https://savicki.co.uk/terms-and-conditions and https://savicki.co.uk/privacy-policy, unless otherwise specified in these Terms and Conditions.
The purpose of the service is to offer Customers extended after-sales service, maintenance, and a discount on the purchase of goods with identical properties as part of the order to which these services relate.
§ 2. DEFINITIONS
The terms used in the following provisions of the Terms and Conditions shall have the following meanings:
Agreement An agreement for the provision of the SAVICKI Care+® Service concluded between the Customer and SAVICKI via the website https://savicki.co.uk/ or through the SAVICKI Customer Service, of which these Terms and Conditions form an integral part, and the confirmation of the agreement is the Proof of Purchase of the SAVICKI Care+® Service.
SAVICKI Care+® A set of services covered by the Agreement and relating to the Products.
Product An engagement ring or wedding rings from the Seller's offer purchased in the SAVICKI online store.
§ 3. Conclusion, duration, and variant of the Agreement
The purchase of SAVICKI Care+® takes place together with the purchase of the Product.
SAVICKI Care+® applies only to those Products for which the Customer is able to provide proof of purchase or a sale number.
The purchase of the SAVICKI Care+® service in the Online Store is made in accordance with the purchase rules set out in the Online Store Terms and Conditions https://savicki.co.uk/terms-and-conditions.
The service is subject to a fee. The SAVICKI Care+® fee is charged once in advance for the entire term of the Agreement. The only additional costs that the Customer may incur are those related to the materials needed to perform the service (in particular Repairs and Modifications), of which the Customer will be informed and which require their prior approval.
The service is provided for an indefinite period, except that the Customer has the right to terminate the contract with 14 days' notice. The Seller waives the right to terminate the contract, but throughout its term, the Seller has the right to withdraw from the contract with future effect, provided that a compensation fee equal to the price paid by the Customer for SAVICKI Care+® is paid. The Customer loses the right to use SAVICKI Care+® upon termination of the Contract.
The Customer shall be entitled to use SAVICKI Care+® from the 15th day after the conclusion of the Agreement, unless the Customer declares that they agree to the implementation of SAVICKI Care+® before the expiry of the deadline for withdrawal from the Agreement without giving any reason.
§ 4. Range of SAVICKI Care+® services
As part of SAVICKI Care+®, the Customer gains access to the services listed below, within the specified range and conditions. These services include:
Return of goods
Free engraving
Warranty
Return of an engraved engagement ring
Jewelry cleaning
Expertise
Size adjustment
Repair
Modification
Discount on purchase in case of theft or loss of the product
As far as technically possible, the services can be used together or separately. All information in this regard is provided through the Hotline.
The Hotline is a service that provides customers with access to a telephone customer service center, through which customers can request specific services under SAVICKI Care+®, obtain information about services, their availability, implementation, and other information related to SAVICKI Care+®. The Hotline operates Monday–Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Hotline number is available in the Contact tab at https://savicki.co.uk/contact-us. You can also contact us via email: contact@savicki.co.uk.
"Return of goods" allows you to withdraw from the purchase agreement within an additional 365-day period SAVICKI Care+® (hereinafter referred to as the "365-day period") from the date of delivery of the goods to the buyer or from the date of delivery of the last product if the order consists of multiple products. This 365-day period is an additional service provided by the seller and does not constitute an extension of the 14-day statutory period.
If the goods show signs of use or damage that could reduce their value, the request to withdraw from the purchase agreement will not be accepted. At the same time, the 365-day period for withdrawal from the contract under SAVICKI Care+® replaces the additional 120-day return period provided for in the SAVICKI online store regulations. This means that these periods cannot be added together or combined.
Personalization at Savicki Care+® means:
engraving on wedding rings,
making jewelry from 750 gold,
platinum plating of white gold,
hypoallergenic version of white gold,
lenses in wedding rings,
modifications beyond the standard designs offered in the online store,
goods made according to a design provided by the Customer,
setting gemstones with a certificate beyond the standard offer of the online store.
Although engraving personalizes the product, the Seller accepts returns of engraved engagement rings within 365 days under SAVICKI Care+®, subject to the fulfillment of other return conditions listed above.
Withdrawal from the purchase agreement within 365 days is also not possible if the product:
has been additionally adjusted in terms of size,
has been additionally engraved,
has been modified by a third party,
has been exchanged for another product within the order,
has been purchased in installments.
Free engraving is a service consisting of free engraving on the Product, covering a maximum of 24 characters. The service can be used once every 3 months. The Seller notes that the Free Engraving service may affect the availability of other services (e.g., free return of a Product with engraving will not be possible).
The warranty is a service consisting of extending the warranty provided by the Seller for the duration of the Agreement. The standard warranty period is 2 years.
Return of an engraved ring – this service allows the Customer to withdraw from the purchase agreement for a ring with an engraving within the 365-day SAVICKI Care+® period. This service is an exception to the rules regarding product personalization specified above. Returning an engraved ring is possible provided that:
the ring does not bear any signs of use beyond that necessary to familiarize oneself with its nature, properties, and functionality,
it has not been modified by a third party,
it has not been additionally adjusted in terms of size,
the other conditions for return specified for the "Return of goods" service are met.
Jewelry cleaning is a service that involves bathing the product in an ultrasonic cleaner and polishing it. The service can be used once every three months.
Expertise is a service consisting in evaluating the condition of the Product, in particular in terms of damage. Expertise is always performed before Repair, Size Correction, and Modification services are performed, and also when requested by the Customer. Expertise is sent in the form of an email to the address provided by the Customer. The service can be used each time a Service is ordered.
Size adjustment is a service that involves changing the size of the Product by three sizes up or down from the current size. The service is preceded by an Expert Opinion to determine its possibility of implementation. The Seller is not obliged to perform Size Adjustment if, as a result of the Expertise, it determines that it is impossible, impractical, or that as a result of its implementation, the Product will be exposed to other damage. The service can be used once every 3 months.
Repair is a service consisting in repairing the following damage to Products:
deformation requiring straightening,
breakage of a precious stone setting or other setting,
damage requiring improvement of a precious stone setting.
Repairs are preceded by an Expertise to determine the possibility and advisability of performing them. The Seller is not obliged to perform the Repair if, as a result of the Expertise, it determines that it is impossible, inadvisable, or that as a result of performing it, the Product will be exposed to other damage. The service can be used in the event of damage described in points a), b), and c).
Modification means performing a service involving changes to the parameters of the ring other than size adjustment, such as changing the metal, adding/removing elements, or replacing or exchanging stones. The buyer only covers the difference in value between the replaced metal or stone. The seller is not obliged to perform the Modification if, as a result of an Expertise, it is determined that it is impossible, impractical, or that as a result of its performance, the Product will be exposed to other damage. The service can be used without limitation.
The discount on purchases in the event of theft or loss of a product is a service whereby a customer who has purchased Products from the Seller is granted a discount of 25% off the regular price on the date of purchase of the new Product, when purchasing Products with the same or similar characteristics as the Product purchased. In the event of any changes to the Product made under SAVICKI Care+®, only the last size of the Product is taken into account. The service is only provided for Products that have been the subject of a crime and have not been returned, as well as lost Products that have not been found. The service can be used in the event of the described situation. The Seller may make the performance of the service conditional upon the submission of relevant statements or documents.
If the Customer exercises their right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason, the payment for the purchase of SAVICKI Care+® will also be refunded, provided that the Customer has not used any of the Services provided under SAVICKI Care+®. The SAVICKI Care+® Fee will be refunded using the same payment method that the Customer used for the original transaction, unless the Customer expressly agrees to a different refund method that does not involve any costs for them.
§ 5. How to use SAVICKI Care+®
To use the SAVICKI Care+® service, the Buyer has several options for submitting a request to use it:
by filling out the form provided for this purpose in the online store,
by contacting online technical support via chat in the online store interface.
SAVICKI Care+® services are linked to a specific Buyer, order, and goods. The Buyer is obliged to provide the Seller with all necessary information related to the service they wish to use.
The Seller will confirm receipt of the request to use the service to the Buyer by phone or email.
The Seller shall organise the transport of the goods for the purpose of performing the service at its own expense, both from the Buyer and back to the Buyer. Before sending the goods to the Seller, the Buyer is obliged to secure them properly for transport in a manner that minimises the possibility of damage during transport.
§ 6. Service completion deadline
The service specified in §4 shall be performed within 14 business days from the date of delivery of the Product to the Seller. This does not apply to Modification and Repair services, for which the completion deadline is 30 business days from the date of delivery of the Product to the Seller. In the event of any threat to the deadline, the Customer will be informed by the Seller. The performance of the service is understood as the moment of sending the return shipment to the Customer.
The Seller shall not be liable for failure to meet the deadlines specified in section 1 above if:
the data provided by the Customer were incorrect,
the elements necessary to perform the Repair, Size Adjustment, or Modification of the ring are not available,
circumstances beyond the Seller's control occurred that could not have been foreseen at the time of order confirmation (e.g., lack of availability of gemstones).
The Seller shall keep the Customer informed of any circumstances affecting the inability to meet the deadlines. The deadline for the performance of the service shall be extended by the duration of the obstacles.
§ 7. Exclusions
The SAVICKI Care+® service does not cover:
any damage to Products caused or repaired by any entity other than the Seller,
Products that have been modified, altered, engraved, or otherwise tampered with by any entity other than the Seller.
The repair does not cover damage caused by:
of a completely irreparable nature,
resulting from interference with the Product by the Customer or a third party.
In cases not covered by the SAVICKI Care+® Service, the Customer shall cover:
the cost of transporting the Product,
the cost of the Expertise,
the cost of services if the Customer decides to use a different service apart from SAVICKI Care+®.
In the case referred to in section 3, the basis for charges will be the carriage rates and service rates available at the request of the Seller's customers. The Customer will be informed each time that it is not possible to provide the service under SAVICKI Care+®. The Customer decides whether to order the services referred to in section 3(c).
The provisions of this clause apply to consumers only.
You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire 14 days after the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify the Seller at the address indicated in §4 article 3, of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of an explicit statement (for example, a letter sent by post, fax or email). You may use the model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. You may also fill in and submit the withdrawal form or any other unequivocal statement of your decision to withdraw from the contract electronically on our website at https://savicki.co.uk/contact-us. If you choose to exercise this option, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of your withdrawal on a durable medium (for example, by email) without delay.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Consequences of withdrawal: In the event of withdrawal from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery of the goods (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay, and in any case no later than 14 days from the day we receive the notification of your decision to exercise your right to cancel this contract. We will carry out the refund using the same method of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
§ 10. Change to the regulations
The seller reserves the right to change these terms and conditions for the following reasons:
changes in legal regulations or a ruling issued by an authorized body requiring an appropriate change to these regulations,
the need to ensure the safe and intended functioning of SAVICKI Care+®, the need to protect the legitimate interests of Customers,
implementing changes in connection with the development of SAVICKI Care+®, including the addition of new functionalities,
a change in technical conditions necessitating changes to the regulations.
In such a case, the Customer shall be notified of the changes at least 14 days before the date of the change, unless applicable law or a decision of a competent authority requires a shorter period. In the notification, the Seller shall be obliged to inform the Customer about the nature of the changes being introduced.
